Chesapeake United Soccer Club – Choice for Youth Soccer Programs

Welcome to the CHESAPEAKE UNITED SOCCER CLUB (CUSC) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Chesapeake, Virginia with approximately 1000 youth players. Our programs are designed to develop player skills to the highest possible level based on the desire and commitment of players and families. We form teams each soccer year for both boys and girls ages 4 to 18 (U-5 to U-19) to compete against other club, local, state, and regional teams. We employ technical directors which monitor and assist our coaches and teams by employing US Youth Soccer and national accepted best practices. We have an established coaching training program for licensing of coaches through Virginia Youth Soccer Associated (VYSA) and the Metropolitan D.C. Virginia Soccer Association. We currently have over eleven soccer fields maintained by professional staff which we currently utilize for teams to facilitate practices and matches. CUSC MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Chesapeake United Soccer Club is to provide a structured, fun, educational, positive, and appropriately challenging environment for soccer players of all ages. The primary focus of the club will be to develop each player to reach their maximum potential and be adequately prepared for the next level. The club will seek to consistently improve each individual player’s technique, understanding of the game, ability to work as a team, and passion for the game of soccer through a staff which is committed to do so. The club will accept the responsibility to build moral intelligence and teach values including, but not limited to: respect, loyalty, commitment, hard work, integrity, responsibility, self-control, and humility. The success of the club will be measured by the development, enjoyment, and aforementioned moral intelligence of each individual player within. While game results will be appropriately recognized, success will not be determined strictly by wins and losses. The club will seek to unite its players, coaches, and parents, recognizing that unity is a vital piece of our foundation. With passion and commitment to the success of the membership, Chesapeake United Soccer Club will strive each day to develop champions in soccer and in life.
